With The Traitors Season 2 heading towards its final episode, the game has reached its most unpredictable stage yet. After weeks of alliances, accusations, betrayals and surprise exits, viewers are now waiting to find out whether the Innocents will manage to outsmart the Traitors or whether the latter will finally have their winning moment.
The season started with 21 contestants, and nine episodes have already seen the players navigate their way through an increasingly complicated game. While the Traitors have managed to stay under the radar for much of the competition, the Innocents have arguably provided some of the season’s most talked about moments.
Munawar Faruqui’s early elimination set the tone for the season, followed by the exits of players including Abhishek Malhan. Parul Gulati also stood out for her ability to read situations, while Prish and Ikka brought their own strategic approaches to the game. Tanya Puri, meanwhile, made a significant impact with her observations, particularly when she managed to identify Shahneel as a Traitor during the Circle of Shaq.
Interestingly, the Innocents have often appeared sharper this season than they were expected to be. However, their biggest problem has been their inability to stay united. On several occasions, their suspicions turned towards other Innocents, leading to internal clashes while the real Traitors continued to survive.
That could ultimately work in Rida and Krystle’s favour.
As the finale approaches, the remaining Traitors appear to have a genuine shot at taking the trophy. Krystle’s journey has been particularly interesting, considering how many times she has found herself under suspicion but still managed to survive. There were instances when her elimination seemed almost certain, yet she continued to make it through the Circle of Shaq.
There is also growing speculation among fans about a possible Traitors victory this season. If that happens, it would mark a major shift from the previous season, where the Innocents largely dominated the narrative.
However, regardless of who eventually wins, Season 2 has already created a different identity for itself. The Traitors may have played the quieter game, but the Innocents have arguably given viewers some of the season’s most memorable moments.
Now, with just one episode remaining, the final question is whether the Traitors will finally have their season or if the Innocents still have one last move left.
