Bigg Boss 20 saw another uncomfortable moment between Kanika Mann and Qazi Touqeer as their earlier disagreement over Qazi’s “lollipop” comment resurfaced during a conversation inside the house. What began as a classroom interaction soon turned into a heated exchange, with Kanika making it clear that she was not comfortable with the remark.
The conversation started when Kanika asked Qazi, “kaunsa subject padhna hai”. Qazi responded, “im a student, Biology”. His reply prompted Aman Gandhi to step in and question his manner of speaking. Aman said, “esi batameezi kar jaate hai phir kehte hai mera intention vo nahi tha”.
Qazi then directed his attention towards Kanika and said, “You are so beautiful ma’am, can we have lollipop together”. Kanika did not continue with the conversation and instead walked away, visibly unhappy with what had been said.
Qazi later attempted to clarify what he meant by the statement. He explained that he was portraying the character played by Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya and claimed that the comment was part of the character he was enacting. Qazi said, “Now I became the character of Koi Mil Gaya ka Hrithik Roshan jo akkal se bachha hai. I became that character.”
Elaborating on his reasoning, Qazi added, “Kids like lollipop, Chocolates they like.” Kanika, however, did not accept the explanation and interrupted him while expressing her objection to the remark.
Despite her reaction, Qazi continued trying to explain that he was speaking in character. He said, “Aap nahi kid ho, but main bachchan bana na tab, character mein. Jaise ki Forrest Gump bana,” before adding that “lollipop is not abusive word.”
The clarification failed to settle the matter, as Qazi once again asked Kanika, “Can we have lollipop together?” Kanika responded strongly, “That was cheap, Qazi Touqeer. I don’t expect cheap things from you.”
The discussion also drew reactions from other housemates. Aman called Qazi “filthy”, while Amrapali Gupta stepped into the conversation and said that Qazi was wrong. Their responses further added to the tension surrounding the interaction.
The disagreement comes after Qazi’s earlier “lollipop” remark had already become a point of discussion inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. While Qazi has continued to maintain that there was no inappropriate intention behind his words, Kanika has objected to the way the comment was delivered.
The latest confrontation has once again brought their contrasting views to the forefront, with the classroom interaction turning into another tense moment between the two contestants.
