The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 witnessed a new Ranking and Ration Task, which saw the housemates engage in intense discussions over their respective positions. With contestants having to justify where they deserved to stand, the task soon turned into a battle of opinions, with several housemates refusing to settle for the positions initially being discussed for them.
However, not everyone was eligible to participate in the ranking process. Since the task was restricted to contestants who had two lifelines, Scout, Yung DSA, Uditi and Kanika did not take part in the ranking.
As the task progressed, the housemates eventually arrived at an initial ranking. Qazi Touqeer emerged at the top, followed by Arishfa Khan in second place and Amrapali Gupta in third. Mahi Vij was ranked fourth, while Gullu took the fifth spot. Love Kataria was placed sixth, followed by Aman Gandhi at seventh position. Mary Kom was ranked eighth, with Rhiti Tiwari and Esha completing the list at ninth and tenth positions respectively.
The rankings, however, did not remain completely straightforward as some contestants challenged the positions being discussed for them. Rhiti, in particular, refused to accept the possibility of being placed at the bottom and put forward her case. She eventually managed to secure the ninth position instead of being pushed to tenth.
Love also made his case during the task. While the housemates were initially considering placing him at seventh position, he managed to move up and ultimately secured sixth place.
The final twist came when Sanchalak Kanika was given the power to make changes to the ranking. Using her authority, Kanika altered the positions, which resulted in Mahi moving up to the second position, while Arishfa was moved to fourth place.
The task also had a direct impact on the house ration. Bigg Boss announced a 40% cut in the ration, making the outcome particularly significant for the contestants.
Meanwhile, Rhiti and Isha landed in the Bottom 2, resulting in both contestants losing one lifeline each. Thus, the task not only determined the housemates’ ranking but also affected their individual advantages inside the house.
With Kanika’s decision changing the final ranking and Rhiti and Esha losing their lifelines, the Ranking and Ration Task has added another layer of competition inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
