The theatres and OTTs are simultaneously keeping cinema lovers on the hook and the next in the queue is a web series titled “Revolution- Padhai Ki Ladai”, which went on the floors from October 1, 2023.
The show is based on the scams and the ill-practices of teachers in the Edtech industry and at the same time it deals with the suffering of students and their parents in the influence of some renowned Edtech giants.
The series has an ensemble cast which includes the most reputed face and one of the finest actors of Indian Television Industry Hiten Tejwani along with Brijendra Kala, Himani Shivpuri, Hemant Pandey, Gaurav Sharma, Rakesh Bedi, Mimoh Chakraborty, Swatantra Bharat and Anusmriti Sarkar.
It’s a seven episode web series and the makers claim it to be an eye-opener for the online educational system and its range to bring a change among teachers and students being affected by the Edtech industry.
Revolution is being helmed by the director duo Suraj Sharma and Salar Shaikh. This series is written by Shubham Shah and Suraj Sharma. This series is being made under the Niyashi Motion Pictures owned by Prateek Shivalik, who is the prime producer of the show. Aakash Dubey who has given his backing to some popular projects of TVF, Zee5 and MX Player is on board as an executive and associate producer for this web series.
If the reports are to be believed, the shooting will go on for almost two months and it will take a long post-production before hitting the OTT at the beginning of January 2024.
