The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 saw the housemates given an opportunity to openly assess Gullu’s captaincy and decide whether he deserved another chance to compete for the coveted captaincy position. Bigg Boss asked the contestants to rate Gullu’s performance as a captain by presenting him with either a black rose or a red rose.
The task put the contestants in a position where they had to make their opinions about Gullu’s leadership clear. While some housemates expressed dissatisfaction with the way he handled his responsibilities, others appeared to believe that he deserved another opportunity to become captain.
Aman, Aasif, Amrapali Dubey, Mahhi and Arishfa gave Gullu black roses, making it clear that they were not impressed with his captaincy. Amrapali, while handing him the black rose, pointed out that Gullu often tries to maintain a favourable equation with everyone in the house.
“Hamesha ye koshish karte hai ke woh sabke good books mein rahe,” Amrapali said while explaining her reason for giving him the black rose.
Arishfa was also particularly critical of Gullu’s stint as captain. She did not hold back while sharing her assessment of his leadership and told him, “Bahut hi wahiyat lagi. Jab AAP captain bante ho tab aapko responsibility nibhani padti hai.”
On the other hand, Kanika, Uditi, Scout, Rhiti, Love, Mary, Yung and Qazi chose to give Gullu red roses. Their votes worked in his favour and ultimately helped him secure another opportunity in the captaincy race.
Following the task, Gullu once again emerged as one of the captaincy contenders in the Bigg Boss house. The development comes after the contestants were given a direct platform to evaluate his previous stint and decide whether he should get another shot at the position.
With Gullu back among the captaincy contenders, it remains to be seen whether he will be able to turn the criticism surrounding his earlier captaincy into motivation and prove himself in the next captaincy task.
