The captaincy contenders this time were Gullu, Mahhi Vij, Kanika Mann and Rhiti Tiwari. The four contestants were called into the 2X Room, where Bigg Boss presented them with a choice that could directly affect another housemate’s game.
Each captaincy contender was asked to name one contestant whose lifeline they would want to take away if they went on to become the new captain of the house. The decision gave the contenders a chance to identify the housemate whose lifeline they would be willing to sacrifice as part of the captaincy twist.
Gullu chose Scout OP’s name during the task. Mahhi Vij and Kanika Mann also made their respective choices, while Rhiti Tiwari decided not to take away anyone’s lifeline.
The captaincy task eventually resulted in Gullu taking over as the new captain of the Bigg Boss 20 house. As per the rule of the task, his earlier choice came into effect once he secured the captaincy.
Consequently, Scout OP lost his lifeline after Gullu became the captain. The development adds another layer to the ongoing game, especially as the contestants continue to make decisions that can have a direct impact on each other’s journey inside the house.
