Shehzada Dhami Bigg Boss: Actor Shehzada Dhami, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 18 after his controversial exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, appears to have taken a dig at reality show makers through a strongly worded note on social media. The actor took to his Instagram Stories to share a message about how reality television can influence public perception and create narratives around contestants, raising questions about the price participants pay for being part of such shows.
In his note, Shehzada highlighted how a reality show can potentially affect the way audiences perceive a contestant, suggesting that entertainment and ratings can sometimes take precedence over an individual’s reputation. His post read, “Never let a reality show become the reason people misunderstand your reality.”
He further wrote, “They will manipulate your image, twist your actions, and create a narrative that serves their TRPs. They won’t give you a fair chance to play your game, express yourself, or even defend who you really are.”
The actor went on to suggest that the makers ultimately control what reaches the audience and how contestants are perceived. He added, “They’ll decide what the audience sees, what they believe, and who they hate. And for what? A few extra TRPs.”
Emphasising the difference between participating in a reality show and having control over one’s portrayal, Shehzada wrote, “Remember, you might be entering a reality show, but you’re playing a game where they control the narrative, the edits, and sometimes even the perception of your character.”
He concluded the note by pointing towards the possible consequences for contestants, writing, “You risk your reputation. They profit from the controversy. Don’t let someone turn your identity into entertainment just to sell a false version of your reality.”

While Shehzada did not explicitly name any show or its makers in the note, his comments have drawn attention given his previous experience with reality television. The actor entered Bigg Boss 18 in October 2024, months after his abrupt departure from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai became a major talking point in the television industry.
Shehzada played Armaan Poddar in the Star Plus show before producer Rajan Shahi announced his termination in March 2024, citing alleged unprofessional behaviour on set. Shehzada, however, presented his side of the incident when he entered Bigg Boss 18, claiming that he had been humiliated in front of the show’s unit before being removed.
His journey on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show lasted less than a month, with the actor being evicted in November 2024. Given his earlier experience and the strong message he has now shared, his latest Instagram Story has sparked curiosity about whether he is reflecting on his own experiences with reality television.
