After keeping their newborn twin boys away from the spotlight for a while, television couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have finally introduced their little ones by their names. The couple, who had been lovingly addressing their sons as T1 and T2, recently came up with a rather interesting way of revealing their names, making the announcement a memorable family affair.
Divyanka and Vivek turned the occasion into a fun treasure hunt, involving their family members in a clue finding activity. The excitement reached its peak when Vivek’s father managed to discover one of the clues, eventually leading to the much awaited announcement. Sharing the moment with her YouTube audience, Divyanka revealed that their firstborn, previously known as T1, has been named Daivik. She subsequently announced that their second son, T2, would be called Vaidvik.
However, the names were not chosen randomly. Divyanka also offered a glimpse into the thought process that went behind naming her sons, explaining how their individual personalities influenced the decisions. Talking about Daivik, the actress revealed that he displayed considerable strength right from the beginning. She also pointed out that his personality reminded her of Vivek. Recalling his early days, she said, “Shuru se ek to strength usme jyada thi.” She further mentioned that the little one shares certain physical features with her.
Speaking about their younger son, Vaidvik, Divyanka explained that he was comparatively weaker, which inspired the couple to choose a name with a meaningful association. Elaborating on its significance, she explained that ‘Vaid’ refers to a healer, while ‘Dvik’ represents double. The actress associated the name with the ability to recover at a faster pace, describing it as, “Jo double gati pe khud ko heal kare.” Vivek also shared his observation about their son and added, “He is so easy to please.”
For the unversed, Divyanka and Vivek welcomed this new chapter of their lives nearly ten years after getting married in July 2016. The couple announced their pregnancy on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the occasion of Gudi Padwa. The actress had also revealed that they successfully kept the pregnancy under wraps for six months before sharing the happy news with everyone.
On May 26, 2026, the couple announced the arrival of their twin boys through a joint social media post. Sharing their happiness, they wrote, “We asked for happiness, God said, ‘Take double.’ Blessed with twin baby boys.” Vivek had also expressed his excitement about becoming a father with the words, “Mere Karan Arjun aa gaye!”
