Bigg Boss 20 contestant Yung DSA has found support from his brother Pranay after a video of Gauahar Khan discussing his accent surfaced online. The former Bigg Boss contestant was seen questioning the noticeable difference in Yung’s manner of speaking inside the reality show and in his older interviews.
In the video, Gauahar spoke about having watched some of Yung’s previous interviews, pointing out that he appeared to speak normally in those conversations. She then highlighted how his accent and tonality seem different during his stint inside the Bigg Boss house.
Reacting to Gauahar’s observations, Yung’s brother Pranay took to Instagram Stories and shared his perspective on the rapper’s contrasting communication styles. He explained that being professional does not mean someone is pretending to be someone else. Pranay wrote, “Being professional doesn’t mean being fake.
YUNG is educated and smart enough to understand kidhar, kaise aur kis tone mein baat karni hai. In interviews, panels and professional spaces, he speaks accordingly-and he is fluent in both Hindi and English.
Inside Bigg Boss, he’s showing his raw, core self-his slang, tonality, hustle, hood-life experiences and the environment he comes from. Go to Pune and you’ll find the same slang and tonality even among younger kids.

So how is that “faking” it? Both versions are real. He simply knows how to read the room.
Surprisingly our rapper is educated. Support it rather than criticising an artists educational background and where he uses what when is his choice. That’s being convenient NOT FAKE. Educate yourself.

Pranay further stressed that Yung is capable of adjusting the way he communicates depending on the setting. According to him, the difference between Yung’s interview persona and his behaviour inside the Bigg Boss house reflects his ability to understand his surroundings rather than an attempt to fake his personality.
His reaction comes amid conversations around Yung’s behaviour, language and personality inside the Bigg Boss house. With the debate around his accent now gaining attention online, Pranay’s post has put forward the family’s perspective on why the rapper speaks differently in professional spaces compared to the reality show.
