The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 witnessed Salman Khan schooling Arishfa over her way of handling conversations inside the house. During his interaction with the contestants, the host pointed out how Arishfa often dominates discussions instead of listening to what others have to say. However, the contestant was quick to defend herself and had her own response to Salman’s remarks.
Taking a dig at her habit of interrupting people, Salman said, “Aap sunati hai madam, aap sunti nahi hai. Jaise hi koi muh kholta hai toh aadhe ghante monologue chalta rehta hai aapka.” Responding to him, Arishfa said, “Sir panga lenge toh milega hi.”
Salman then went on to explain why she needed to change this approach, drawing an analogy from her school days. He said, “I know you Arishfa. Jab aap exam deti thi toh pehle 2 words padh ke sawal ka poora answer likh deti thi. Aur fir pata chalta tha ki sawal alag hi hai aur jawab kuch aur hai. You know jo sabse loud person hai na room mein, jo sabse fatt se bolta hai, uske kabhi koi baat palle nahi padti. Pehle sabka sun lo. Be the dumbest in the room. If you’re around smart people, samjhi aap? And be the last one to speak kyunki pata chalega ki us room mein jitne vidvaan log hain, jitne samajhdaar log hain, unhone kya bola hai. Even the stupid people. Aur sun liya karo baatein. Beech beech mein mat kaata karo, isme aap hi ka nuksaan hai.”
Despite Salman’s advice, Arishfa continued to put forward her side of the argument. She maintained that while she does listen to people, constant provocation makes it difficult for her to remain silent. She told him, “Main sunti hoon lekin mujhe itna provoke karenge toh main nahi sunungi.”
The exchange highlighted a difference in how Salman and Arishfa viewed her reactions during arguments, with the host urging her to be more receptive to other opinions while she stood by her response to the situations inside the house.
