Archana Gautam has once again brought her equation with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary into the spotlight. The two actresses, who shared a rather complicated bond during their stint on Bigg Boss 16, seem to have left their friendship behind. This time, Archana has openly expressed her views on Priyanka’s ongoing journey in Rise And Fall 2 and has strongly supported Karan Patel’s recent comments about the actress.
Reacting to some clips from the reality show, Archana agreed with Karan’s observations about Priyanka’s friendships and suggested that her current situation was not very different from what she had witnessed during Bigg Boss 16. Recalling their time together on the show, Archana claimed that Priyanka was struggling to maintain friendships with other contestants when the two of them were not on talking terms.
She further alleged that Bigg Boss had once called her into the confession room and questioned why she had stopped interacting with Priyanka, reminding her that their friendship was working well. Recalling the incident, Archana said, “Bigg Boss ne mujhe confession room mein bulaya aur mujhse kaha, ‘Archana, tum mujhse baat kyun nahi kar rahi ho? Tumhe pata hai, tumhari bahut achhi chal rahi hai dosti.’”
Archana also brought up an incident from Weekend Ka Vaar when Salman Khan had reportedly reprimanded her over her behaviour towards Priyanka. She claimed that after she resumed talking to Priyanka, the latter’s game improved. Taking a further dig, Archana suggested that several contestants had benefited from being associated with her during Bigg Boss 16 because they lacked an individual audience of their own. She believes a similar situation is unfolding on Priyanka’s current show.
Speaking about the difference between friendships formed inside a reality show and those that survive outside, Archana maintained that genuine bonds are determined by what happens once the cameras stop rolling. Citing her equation with Shiv Thakare, she said, “Main aur Shiv, hum dost nahi the. Aaj hum bahar nikalne ke baad sabse achhe dost hain.”
Archana also took a sarcastic swipe at Priyanka’s experience on Rise And Fall 2, suggesting that things might have been easier for her in the absence of Archana. She remarked, “Is show mein bahut achha lag raha hoga, kyunki maine dekha nahi hai. Kyunki is show mein Archana nahi hai uski image ko sahi karne ke liye.”
However, Archana saved her strongest remarks for the end of her reaction. Predicting that Priyanka would eventually find herself without close friends, she said, “Woh apne aap ko bhi kha gayi, apne doston ko bhi kha gayi aur sach mein yeh last mein akeli rahegi.”
Agreeing with Karan Patel’s assessment, Archana concluded by calling Priyanka a ‘real naagin’ and said, “Jo main bolna chahti thi na, woh Karan bhai ne bol diya. Sahi mein yaar, sach mein yeh real naagin hi hai. Yeh naagin dasti hai, yeh apnon ko hi dasti hai.”
