Sandeep Reddy Vanga breaks his own record of ‘Kabir Singh’ with ‘Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor creates history by delivering the highest grossing ‘A’ rated Bollywood film of all time

Ranbir Kapoor’s gangster drama Animal has turned out to be a beast at the Box office. The film is creating a new record and setting a new benchmark with every passing day. 

‘A’ rated films do not have much scope at the Hindi Box Office. Grand Masti was the first ‘A’ rated Bollywood film back in 2013 to cross the 100 cr mark at the Box Office. 

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Kabir Singh created history at the Box Office by collecting 278.24 cr nett at the Indian Box Office. Kabir Singh was the first ‘A’ rated film to do unimaginable business at the Box Office. Despite being a remake the film became a sensation amongst the youth. 

After Kabir Singh films like The Kashmir Files and The Kerala story which were based on hard-hitting and true stories with some disturbing visuals emerged as historic Blockbusters. 

In the month of August, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 was given ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board for its bold subject. The film was based on the subject of Sex Education. OMG 2 emerged as a Super-Hit by collecting 150 cr at the Box Office. 

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has broken all the myths and rewritten history at the Box Office. Despite having excessive violence, some disturbing visuals and adult scenes, the film has created history. 

The scope of gangster based and crime based films is very limited at the Indian Box Office, Animal has set a benchmark for all these films. Animal despite having a runtime of more than 200 minutes, being a fresh film and facing a clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, has turned out to be a Box Office monster. 

Animal has collected 278.46 cr in its first 6 days at the Hindi Box Office. The film has emerged as the highest grossing ‘A’ rated Bollywood film of all time in just 6 days.
