Swara Bhaskar’s husband Fahad Ahmad reacts to her remarks on Shreya Kalra in Rise and Fall 2. Shreya, who had come to visit her boyfriend Rishabh on the show, advised Swara against getting manipulated by Shehzad Poonawalla. However, this did not go down well with Swara, who said that she would not take advice from social media creators. Her comment soon drew considerable flak. Now, speaking to Film Window, Swara’s husband Fahad has reacted to the entire incident. He said,
“Ek aur cheez jo Swara ke liye kahi gayi thi, jab Shreya bhi aayi thi toh usne bola tha. Achha, woh kya hua ki Swara ne uske saamne nahi bola. Yes, woh actually chali gayi thi. Pehle toh woh irritate ho rahi thi. Usne mujhe bataya ki, ‘Yaar, yeh family members aake…’ Matlab, although Swara ko bahut kam logon ne bola tha, do logon ne bola tha, but uska kehna tha ki yaar, yeh family members aaye hain toh family ki baat honi chahiye, achhi baat ho, happy cheezein discuss hon.”
“Haan, woh gusse mein aa gayi thi because usko jab manipulator bola na, toh uska yeh kehna tha ki, ‘Yaar, main apna career daav pe laga ke aayi hoon.’ Baad mein Manish ne bhi yahi cheez boli. Swara never shies away from taking a stand which she believes in. Toh haan, mujhe lagta hai woh gusse mein bol gayi,” He said.
Fahad further says that the word could have been avoided. “Woh jo word tha, I think avoidable tha. Maine yeh baat Swara ko boli bhi. Woh jo upar Jashwant ne bola na ki uske father ne bhi haath khade kar diye the, jo main aise karke kar raha tha. Main Sur ko bol raha tha, ‘Yaar, yeh unka kaam hai, yeh toh karenge.’ But Swara ka apna ek point tha ki, ‘Yaar, koi bhi aake humko aise bolega toh main kaise manipulative ho sakti hoon?’ Toh woh apne aap ko defend kar rahi thi. But I still agree ki that word was avoidable, because mujhe lagta hai woh kisi ke profession pe jaane wali baat thi. Usse logon ka employment juda hua hai, unke careers ki aspirations judi hui hain. I do feel that what was said was avoidable.”
