Karan Kundrra is all set to make a special appearance during the much awaited finale of Playground Season 5. Ahead of the finale, a preview from the episode has surfaced, giving viewers a glimpse of Karan’s interaction with the mentors and his reaction to the recent controversy involving Elvish Yadav and Tejasswi Prakash.
Known for his witty sense of humour, Karan did not miss the opportunity to tease the two mentors over their much discussed argument. Introducing them in his own amusing way, he called Elvish his “chota bhai” while referring to Tejasswi as his “choti fiance.” He then took a hilarious dig at how their disagreement had become a talking point across the country. Karan said, “Yeh mera chota bhai (Elvish), aur yeh meri choti fiance (Tejasswi). Mere ghar ke kalesh ko poora Hindustan mein pocha rakha hai inn dono ne.”
Karan also had something to say about Tejasswi’s reaction during the confrontation. While discussing the incident, he jokingly suggested that her surprise was not necessarily because of Elvish’s use of abusive language, but because of the amount of English he spoke during the argument. He quipped, “Teja bohot shocked lagi thi mereko, isiliye nahi ki Elvish ne gaali di. Usko iss baat ka shock laga ki isne ek baar mein itni saari English kaise bol di.”
He continued to poke fun at Tejasswi’s alleged reaction to people speaking English around her and added, “Teja ki problem yehi hai, iske samne jo bhi English mein baat karta hai, usse yeh jagad leti hai.”
The banter comes after Elvish and Tejasswi’s equation grabbed attention following an argument on the Playground Season 5 sets. The two mentors had earlier been seen sharing a friendly equation, including during their appearance together on Laughter Chefs. However, their recent confrontation quickly became a subject of discussion after a video from the sets surfaced online.
In the viral clip, a disagreement broke out while Elvish was talking about the performance of contestants from his team. The situation reportedly became more heated when Tejasswi interrupted him. Elvish was then heard saying, “Shut the f*ck up,” during the argument, with the exchange subsequently drawing considerable attention on social media.
