Bigg Boss 20 has witnessed yet another war of words, this time involving contestant Tanmay Singh, better known as ScoutOp, and Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu. Following the latest captaincy task, ScoutOp’s team took to social media to respond to Gullu’s reaction and accused him of portraying himself as a victim after the task.
The statement shared by ScoutOp’s team on X appeared to take a dig at both Gullu and those managing his social media presence. “Tasks really bring out the true colours of people and their agencies.”
ScoutOp’s team then questioned Gullu’s response to the task and alleged that he had previously looked down on ScoutOp for being a streamer and gamer. According to the statement, Gullu was now attempting to gain sympathy after facing ScoutOp during the captaincy challenge. The team also maintained that ScoutOp had been careful not to cause any physical harm while completing the task.
“When Scout showed the passion he carries for any game, without losing his sensibility, he made sure he didn’t hurt the person physically while also doing his task with full honesty,” the team stated.
The statement also referred to Gullu’s social media activity, particularly posts suggesting that he had been betrayed by a friend. ScoutOp’s team questioned the narrative being presented and alleged that Gullu had himself encouraged other contestants to damage another housemate’s popcorn bucket during the task.
According to ScoutOp’s team, Gullu reacted differently when ScoutOp damaged his bucket as part of the same task. The team alleged that while Gullu had previously encouraged such an action, he later became upset when he was on the receiving end of it.
The post ended with another pointed remark directed towards the contestants and their strategies. “Start using your brains. No gang leader will help with strategies and infusing passion here.”
The controversy comes as the captaincy task continues to create tension inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, with contestants facing off over their individual approaches to the game.
