Zee TV’s Chhoriyan Chali Gaon continues to delve into the personal lives of its celebrity participants, uncovering heartfelt stories far removed from their glamorous public images. Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the show brings together well-known faces including Anita Hassanandani, Aishwarya Khare, Anjuum Faakih, Krishna Shroff, Dolly Javed, Erica Packard, Rameet Sandhu, Reha Sukheja, Sumukhi Suresh, and the much-loved twin sisters Samriddhi and Surabhi Mehra, popularly known as Chinki-Minki. As these urban women adapt to rural life in the village of Bamuliya, they are also opening up like never before.

In a deeply emotional moment, Samriddhi revealed a painful memory from her early childhood that she had never spoken about publicly. She shared that she was unaware of having a twin sister for the first few years of her life. Raised in a strict, traditional family, the sisters were separated at birth simply because they were both girls. It was only after their mother stood her ground and defied family expectations that the two were reunited when Samriddhi was five years old.

Samriddhi shared, “Our family was very conservative. Just because we were twin girls, they sent my sister away. I didn’t even know I had a sibling who looked like me. My sister grew up without a mother’s love in those early years. But our mom took a stand, she fought against everyone to bring us back together. The day we met for the first time changed everything. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Our mother means the world to us.”
