Vivek Agnihotri has announced another hard-hitting film ‘The Delhi Files’ which will go on floors in 2024.
Vivek Agnihotri is going to make the biggest and most ambitious film of his career. His new film is titled ‘Parva’ which is based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata. ‘Parva’ will be based on the novel of the same name.
Parva is a Kannada novel written by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. S. L. Bhyrappa. The novel is a retelling of Hindu epic Mahabharat, narrated through the personal reflections of the principal characters.
While making the official announcement of his next on social media, Vivek wrote,
“Is Mahabharat HISTORY or MYTHOLOGY?

PARVA – AN EPIC TALE OF DHARMA.

This film will be made in 3 parts, as no one can describe Mahabharata in one part. Mahabharata is a huge story and needs to be handled with utmost care.
The film will be directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by his wife Pallavi Joshi. The film is written by Vivek and Prakash Belawadi who had previously collaborated with Vivek on The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files.
