Vaibhavi Upadhyay passed away yesterday in a car accident. She was known for her role in popular show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
She was traveling in a car with her fiance. The vehicle went out of control at a sharp and steep turn. Vaibhavi’s brother had rushed to Himachal Pradesh where the accident took place to claim the body.
Death of Vaibhavi has come as a shock to the whole industry. We have lost a 2nd TV actor in the span of just 2 days.
The producer and actor JD Majethia took to his social media about the demise of Vaibhavi.
He informed the news by writing, “Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi upadhyay popularly known as Jasmine of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away.She met with an accident in the north. Family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites. RIP vaibhavi.”

The last ritual rites of the actress will start at 1 pm at Babhai Hindu Smashan at Borivali.
JD Majethia also spoke to the media about her demise and said, “I’m shocked! She was genuinely a good soul and a terrific actress who actually didn’t get her due in the industry. A person who was full of life and zeal. It is unbelievable that life can be so unpredictable. An actress and a very dear friend, Vaibhavi even today is remembered for her character Jasmine from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.”
He further added by saying, “She met with an accident near Chandigarh and the family will be bringing her to Mumbai where her final rites will be conducted. She was with her fiancé in the car when it slipped into a valley during a turn on the road. Her brother rushed to Chandigarh on hearing the news.”
