After the shocking news of Aditya Singh Rajput and Vaibhavi Upadhyay, there comes another news of popular TV actor Nitish Pandey passing away.
Nitish was born and brought up in Uttarakhand. He has tied knot with Arpita Pandey who is a TV actress. He met Arpita on the TV show Justajoo and they got married in 2003. He was earlier married to actress Ashwini Kalsekar who is now married to actor Murali Sharma.
Nitish passed away due to a heart attack. The actor had a severe cardiac attack late at night in Igatpuri. Police have reached the hotel and the hotel staff is being questioned.
A police officer said that, “He is a regular visitor to the hotel. We have come to know that Pandey would often come here (to the hotel), stay and write his stories. He would do this to avoid any kind of disturbance.”
The police officer while investigating said, “When he did not answer the doorbell for a long time, the hotel staff opened the room with the help of the master key and found him unconscious.”
He further added by saying, “The doctors have told us that he has died due to a heart attack. His post-mortem is underway and the report will help us determine the cause of death.”
The actor went to the restaurant and ordered food and told the staff to deliver the food in his room by 10:30 pm. When the hotel staff arrived outside the room, Nitish did not answer the doorbell.
Nitish’s brother-in-law addressing the media said, “Yes you have heard it right. My brother-in-law is no more, my sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock. Nitesh’s father has left for Igatpuri to get his mortal remains. They should be here by the afternoon. We have gone absolutely numb, I have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy.”
He further added by saying, “I am headed to Igatpuri as well, I am in the train right now. I was coming back from Delhi when I heard about this. Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don’t think he had a history of any heart ailment.”
He was popular for TV shows like Astitva… Ek Prem Kahani, Manzilein Apani Apani, Saaya, Durgesh Nandini and Justajoo. He was also seen in the most favorite recent TV serial Anupamaa.
