Allu Arjun made his debut in 2003 with the movie Gangotri. His popularity increased after the film Arya (2004) which was directed by Sukumar (Pushpa fame).

1] Arya (2004)
Arya was the film which made Allu Arjun popular. The film was directed by Sukumar. The film had garnered positive reviews and was a success at the Box Office. This romantic film has now developed a cult following. The film is also popular for the song ‘Aa Ante Amalapuram’. Sukumar narrated the story of a boy who confess his love to a girl right in the beginning instead of revealing the love or obsession of a boy for a girl at the end.
2] Vedam (2010)
Vedam is arguably the best film of Allu Arjun till date. The film was directed by Krish (Gabbar is Back and Manikarnika fame). The film also starred Anushka Shetty, Manchu Manoj and Acting Legend Manoj Bajpayee amongst others. The five principal characters in the film were based on the five natural elements like Water, Air, Earth, Fire and Sky. Vedam was a critically acclaimed film and Allu Arjun’s performance was praised. The film was a hyperlink anthology film which was inspired from 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
3] Race Gurram (2014)
This action comedy film was directed by Surender Reddy (Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame). The film had Shruti Haasan playing the leading lady. The film had garnered positive reviews. Race Gurram was the 1st 100 cr grosser film for Allu Arjun. It was the highest grossing Telugu film of the year. The music album of this film was also well received. Allu Arjun’s dance was also the highlight of the film.
4] S/O Satyamurthy (2015)
Allu Arjun starred in this action drama film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film had an ensemble cast of Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menon and Adah Sharma amongst others. The film revolves around three characters; the first follows his heart, the second uses his brain and the third uses his brawn. With this film, Allu Arjun became the first Telugu actor with two consecutive films earning more than ₹50 crore share worldwide.
5] Sarrainodu (2016)
The film was a box office success despite receiving negative reviews. The film went on to collect 125 cr+ at the box office. Allu Arjun calls this film a landmark film in his career. Allu Arjun’s performance and dance were the major highlights of the film. It was the 2nd highest grossing Telugu film of the year. The film had Rakul Preet Singh playing the role of a leading lady.
6] DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017)
Allu Arjun played the role of a caterer who is an undercover cop in this action comedy. Pooja Hegde was cast opposite Allu Arjun. The film received positive response and was the 3rd highest grossing film of the year. It went on to collect over 150 crores at the Box Office. The music album of DJ was well received. Seeti Maar song from the film was also remade in Hindi in the film Radhe which starred Salman Khan.
7] Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020)
Allu Arjun collaborated again with his S/O Satyamurthy director Trivikram Srinivas for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The film had Pooja Hegde opposite Allu Arjun. The film also had Tabu. This action drama was known for its performances, writing, action, direction and music. It is the 6th highest grossing Telugu film of all time. The film had a chartbuster music album. It is the first Indian feature film soundtrack to have more than 1 billion-views on YouTube. This film was remade in Hindi titled Shehzada. Shehzada starred Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala amongst others.
8] Pushpa (2021)
This film needs no introduction at all. Allu Arjun collaborated again with Sukumar and created history. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Allu Arjun’s character of Pushpa has become an iconic character in Indian Cinema. Pushpa was a Pan-India release and went on to become a huge blockbuster at the Box Office. It was the highest grossing film of 2021. The film collected more than 100 cr nett in the Hindi markets. The film had a chartbuster music album. Sequel to Pushpa, Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to release this year.
Allu Arjun will be next seen in the sequel of Pushpa which will be releasing later this year. Allu Arjun will also be seen in an action thriller directed by Siva Koratala tentatively titled AA 21. The film is slated for a 2023 release. Allu Arjun will be also seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial film tentatively titled AA 23.
