Payal Rohatgi And Sangram Singh

Wrestler-turned-actor Sangram Singh has opened up about his and wife Payal Rohatgi’s plans to embrace parenthood through surrogacy after facing years of challenges with fertility treatments. The couple, who got married in July 2022 after being together for over a decade, have been candid about their personal struggles, including failed IVF attempts and the emotional toll it has taken on them. Sangram made it public in a recent interview that after repeated attempts, IVF didn’t work for them, and the doctors told them that natural conception was not a possibility. Still, he did not stop applauding Payal’s spirit and referred to her as a strong lady and said that their love for each other was the most crucial aspect of their lives.

Defending the gossip that has been making rounds regarding their marriage and supposed separation, Sangram confirmed that their relationship is solid and on course. He acknowledged that although all such unfounded rumors do hurt them emotionally, particularly Payal, they still keep their minds on their future as one. He revealed that what has always remained a priority for them has been creating a beautiful family and how now they were seriously thinking of surrogacy as the next step. Sangram described that adoption was their first preference, but due to the evolving legal scenario surrounding surrogacy in India, they are considering all options. He did admit that new laws regarding surrogacy have turned stricter because of its misuse in the past, and therefore, the process has become more complex.

Talking about how he wants to be a father, Sangram reminisced about his own childhood, remembering how he was raised amidst children in his village and how he has always dreamed of having a house full of the voice of children’s laughter. He explained that even though he and Payal have fun bickering with each other, teasingly insisting on occasion that they themselves still act like kids, they are prepared to make this next step when the moment is right. Sangram’s belief is that becoming parents will arrive in its own time and has faith in the timing of God.

Their candor regarding these extremely personal matters has spoken to many, particularly since subjects like fertility, IVF, and surrogacy are still sensitive and highly stigmatized in India. The journey of Sangram and Payal does not only represent the physical and emotional battles of building a family but also exemplifies their strength and determination to overcome these hardships side by side with integrity and optimism towards the future.
