Marital reality got a dramatic twist on COLORS’ hit show Pati Patni Aur Panga when Debinna Bonnerjee stunned both her husband Gurmeet Choudhary and the audience with an impulsive move that no one saw coming.
The episode introduced “Mr. Chaknachoor,” a formidable shredder set to destroy each couple’s most cherished possessions. From Avika’s beloved teddy bear to Milind’s prized IIM degree, contestants agonized over what they might have to sacrifice. But the night’s biggest shock arrived when Debinna, without warning, hurled Gurmeet’s phone directly into the shredder, an item that wasn’t even up for discussion.
The studio gasped as the phone disappeared, silencing the set before laughter eventually erupted. “When Debinna suddenly tossed my phone into the shredder, I was completely blank,” Gurmeet recalled with a grin. “One second we were debating what to risk, and the next my phone was gone. With Debinna, I should never expect the unexpected, she always finds a way to shock me.”
