In a strong public statement, EndemolShine India, the production house behind the hugely popular reality TV show Bigg Boss, has issued an urgent warning to fans and aspiring contestants: beware of fraudulent casting calls.

The company took to Instagram to address a growing concern after learning that certain individuals and agencies are falsely claiming to be associated with Bigg Boss and sending out fake casting invitations. The post, prominently marked with “BE AWARE” in bold yellow, stressed that EndemolShine India is not affiliated with any casting agents or external agencies.

“It has come to our attention that people are falsely claiming to be associated with us & are sending out casting calls on our behalf,” the statement read. “Please note that we are NOT affiliated with any casting agent or agency. Our team internally decides on the running of the show and you do not need to pay money to be part of the show. We strongly request you not to get into such trap or claims.”

The caption further clarified the company’s stand: “No agents. No shortcuts. No payments. If it’s really Bigg Boss, it’s from us — directly. Don’t fall for fake casting calls.”

With Bigg Boss being one of India’s most watched and talked-about reality shows, the lure of a casting offer can be tempting for many. However, scams like these prey on that excitement, often demanding upfront payments or personal details under false pretences.

Industry insiders say this isn’t the first time fake casting scams have targeted big reality shows, but the scale and frequency have increased with the rise of social media. EndemolShine’s clear and direct warning serves as a crucial reminder: any legitimate communication about Bigg Boss casting will come only from the official team.

Fans are urged to remain vigilant, double-check all information through verified channels, and remember, if it’s not coming straight from EndemolShine India, it’s not the real deal.
