Television actress Anjuum Faakih, popularly known for her performances in hit shows like Kundali Bhagya, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, has made a significant change in her professional identity by altering the spelling of her name—previously written as Anjum Fakih. This change, she emphasizes, wasn’t done for fame or publicity, but was rooted in a deep, personal, and spiritual journey.
In a heartfelt conversation, Anjuum explained the reasons behind the shift. “It wasn’t something I had planned for a long time or did casually,” she shared. “One of my closest friends, who’s now a certified numerologist, suggested the change. She knows me better than most—she’s seen my journey, my struggles, my highs and lows.”
Anjuum admitted that for a while, she had been feeling creatively stagnant. Despite constant effort, giving auditions, manifesting opportunities, and putting herself out there, nothing seemed to be moving forward. “I felt like I was hitting a wall. I was trying so hard, but things just weren’t aligning. It was as if something in the universe wasn’t syncing with my efforts,” she said.
The actress, who strongly believes in the power of energy and spiritual alignment, clarified that the name change wasn’t merely a numerological fix. “It was more than just numbers. It was about shifting something within me, releasing blocked energy and making space for new beginnings. Changing the spelling of my name was like a quiet declaration to the universe that I’m ready for things to flow again,” she explained.
Since adopting the new spelling, Anjuum says she has felt a noticeable shift within herself. “I feel lighter, more in tune with my purpose, and more open to receiving whatever the universe has in store for me,” she expressed.
Anjuum was last seen on the adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Although her journey on the show was short-lived, with an early elimination, she remains optimistic and energized about the future.
With this name change, Anjuum Faakih is embracing a new chapter, one rooted in self-awareness, energy alignment, and the quiet power of transformation.
