The music maestro Shankar Mahadevan turns 56 today. Shankar Mahadevan is the part of popular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Shankar Mahadevan is a popular music composer and playback singer. Shankar Mahadevan has recorded songs in many languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, etc. Shankar Mahadevan has recorded over 7000 songs in his career.
Shankar Mahadevan made his singing debut in 1994 film Humse Hai Muqabla in which he sang 2 songs. Shankar Mahadevan made his acting debut with Marathi film Katyar Kaljat Ghusali directed by Subodh Bhave. The film js regarded as a Masterpiece and Shankar’s performance was well applauded.
Shankar Mahadevan rose to fame in 1998 after his album Breathless was released. The lyricist were written by Javed Akhtar. Breathless is a song which has no breaks and apparently not even a pause for breath.
