It has been learnt that Shahid Kapoor and Vashu Bhagnani (Pooja Entertainment) are teaming up for a mythological film based on Hindu epic Mahabharata.
This is going to be the most ambitious project for Pooja Entertainment. The project will be helmed by a Kannada director, whose name has not been revealed yet.
This film will be a visual spectacle and will be made on a grand scale. Huge sets will be designed and high class VFX will be used. This film will be an epic treat for all the history lovers out there. This will be a never seen before historical drama ever made in Bollywood.
Shahid Kapoor will be playing one of the most powerful characters from Mahabharata. Shahid has signed this film and shooting will commence from the first half of 2024.
Shahid has already been a part of period drama Padmaavat where he played the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh. Shahid’s performance in Padmaavat was highly appreciated. Shahid is a fantastic actor and steps into the shoes of any given character very easily.

Shahid will be next seen in a robotic rom-com opposite Kriti Sanon. This yet to be titled film will be released on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2024. Shahid also has Roshan Andrrews cop thriller in his kitty.
