Jawan’s advance booking opened yesterday. The film has created records just before its release. Jawan recorded the highest advance booking for any Bollywood film in the first 24 hours. Jawan also became the fastest to sell 1,00,000 tickets in advance.
Pathaan holds the record for highest tickets sold in national multiplex chains (PVR, INOX and Cinepolis). Pathaan had sold 1,17,000 tickets within the first 24 hours and Jawan has surpassed the record by a big margin. Jawan had recorded 1,65,000 ticket sales in the first 24 hours.
Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in an out and out desi masala action flick for the first time and people are very much excited. The numbers are proof of SRK’s unmatchable stardom.
Pathaan had recorded a total of 5,56,000 tickets (highest for any Bollywood film) in advance, and it seems Jawan will easily surpass these numbers. Baahubali 2 had the highest number of tickets (6,50,000) sold in the Hindi markets.
Jawan can easily challenge Baahubali 2’s advance numbers.
