Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has smashed the opening day record by collecting 65.50 cr nett on its opening day.
Jawan surpassed the opening day figures of Pathaan (55 cr) by a huge margin. Jawan became the 1st Bollywood film to collect 60 cr+ on its opening day. Shah Rukh Khan beat his own record for one more time.
It is often said that opening defines stardom, and the Shahdom of Shah Rukh Khan is next to unmatchable.
SRK has very often beaten his own opening records in the past. In 1995, just like 2023 SRK gave 2 back to back record openers in the same year. He broke his own record in 1997.
