SRK and Rajkumar Hirani’s much awaited Dunki had booked the Christmas 2023 date months ago. Now it has been learnt that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s much awaited Salaar is all set to clash with Dunki.
This Christmas, there will be a clash between SRK and Prabhas. It’s class (Dunki) vs mass (Salaar) this Christmas.
Prashanth Neel has a separate fan base due to KGF. KGF is one of the most loved Pan-India franchises. Salaar has been given the same treatment as the KGF series.
Salaar is a massy treat which will have Prabhas in a never seen before avatar. Salaar will be high on larger than life action sequences. The teaser of Salaar gave us a glimpse of what the film would look like. Salaar will be extremely dark and raw.
On the other hand, Dunki is directed by India’s Best Director Rajkumar Hirani. Rajkumar Hirani has made 5 films (Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, PK and Sanju) till date and all have proved to be Classics. Rajkumar Hirani has never gone wrong till date and has a solid filmography.
Dunki seems like another Classic which has a universal appeal. Dunki will be an emotional film with a Hirani trademark in it. Dunki marks the collaboration of 2 greatest legends SRK and Rajkumar Hirani for the very first time.
Dunki is based on immigration and deals with the subject of Donkey flight. Dunki will be an emotional roller coaster and a moving tale.
Dunki is written by Abhijat Joshi, who has created wonders along with Hirani. Dunki has a solid star cast of Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, etc.
Rajkumar Hirani has delivered 2 All Time Grossers in Christmas with Aamir Khan. 2023 has been a year of SRK. SRK has made a king sized comeback with Pathaan and Jawan. Both the films have crossed the 500 cr mark and have emerged as All Time Grossers.
Makers of Salaar will officially announce the Christmas release date on 29th September.
Hombale Films (makers of Salaar) will once again clash with SRK on Christmas. Hombale Films had previously clashed their KGF with SRK’s Zero in 2018.
The mighty clash between Dunki and Salaar undoubtedly will be the biggest clash ever which will be witnessed in Indian Cinema.
