KGF 2 was one of the most awaited Pan-India releases and the film did collect a huge amount at the Box Office. KGF 2 is originally a Kannada film and was dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages for a Pan-India release. KGF 2 took Kannada Cinema to a global level and went on to collect more than 1200 crores at the global Box Office.
The 1st part of KGF was well received amongst the audience and did a good business. The 2nd part exceeded all the expectations and caused havoc at the Box Office. KGF 2 collected 5 times more than the 1st part at the Box Office.
KGF opened at 53.95 cr nett at the Hindi Box Office. It went on to collect 435.33 cr nett at the domestic Box Office and was declared an All Time Blockbuster at the Box Office.

KGF was the highest grossing Kannada film of all time at the time of its release. KGF 2 surpassed the collection of KGF by collecting 154.69 cr nett at the Kannada Box Office. Later on Kantara, collected 162.09 cr nett at the Box Office and emerged as an All Time Grosser.
