Gadar 2 has now emerged as an All Time Grosser. Gadar 2 is 26th All Time Grosser in Bollywood.
Gadar 2 (513.75 cr) went past Pathaan’s collection of 512.76 cr. Jawan is now all set to surpass these numbers in the coming days. 2023 has been a year to remember for Bollywood.
Bollywood has never seen 3 All Time Grossers in a single year, but 2023 made it possible. With Tiger 3 and Dunki in the line-up, there are high chances of 5 All Time Grossers in a year.
Pathaan broke Dangal’s 6 year old record by a huge margin and emerged as an All Time Grosser. Pathaan became the 1st film to open a 400 cr, 450 cr and 500 cr club for Bollywood.
Aamir Khan was the founder of 100 cr, 200 cr and 300 cr clubs respectively. Aamir Khan gave 5 All Time Grossers between 2008 to 2016, which is most by any Bollywood actor.
Gadar was an All Time Grosser at the time of its release. It broke the 7 year old record of Salman Khan’s Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Gadar 2 just like its prequel also emerged as an All Time Grosser.
Gadar is the only franchise in Bollywood, whose both the parts have emerged as All Time Grossers. The combined footfalls of Gadar franchise are around 8.30 cr.
2023 has been the year of Shah Rukh Khan. SRK’s Jawan has created havoc at the Box Office and is all set to emerge as an ATG.
Gadar 2 will remain All Time Grosser for a very short period. Nevertheless, Sunny Deol has created history with Gadar 2 at the Box Office.
