Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha (2023) which was an Indian adaptation of Hollywood Classic Forrest Gump (1994).
Post the debacle of LSC, there were many news doing rounds of Aamir retiring and focusing on direction henceforth. Aamir had also said many times publicly that he wants to spend time with family and will return to work only when he feels he should be.
Now it has been learnt that Aamir is all set to return to the big screen in 2024. Aamir has blocked his favorite release date of Christmas for his next film.
The details of the film are under wraps. This film will be produced by Aamir Khan Productions and will be the 16th film from AKP.
The untitled film will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Aamir and Rajkumar Santoshi will be reuniting once again after 30 years. The duo previously collaborated for cult classic Andaz Apna Apna in 1994 which also had Salman Khan in the lead role. Andaz Apna Apna is regarded as one of the finest comedy films ever made in Indian Cinema.
The film is all set to release on 20th December, 2024. The pre-production work is going on in full swing and the film is all set to go on floors from 20th January, 2024.
Aamir Khan has always tasted success whenever he has arrived on Christmas.

Salman Khan will be seen in an action entertainer directed by Shershaah fame Vishnu Vardhan and produced by Karan Johar.
Welcome To The Jungle is the 3rd part in the Welcome franchise. The film has a huge ensemble cast comprising of actors like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez and Raveena Tandon in the lead along with Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Mika Singh and Daler Mehndi.
