Bollywood is already in a great Uljhan due to its poor content and Ulajh only increases that Uljhan. Bollywood has lost its quality and serving audience by delivering craps after craps. The makers are fooling the audience by only serving them with disastrous flicks. Ulajh is next level crap and easily one of the worst films of the year.
Janhvi Kapoor is not even an actor and should strictly stay away from such character driven roles. Janhvi has always failed to impress with her performance and Ulajh serves no different. Her expressions, dialogue delivery, intensity, everything looks unbearable on-screen. She was a complete miscast for such a role. Gulshan Devaiah is a wonderful performer and impresses with his performance, but this torturous script doesn’t give him a chance to shine. Though it was delightful to see Gulshan back on the big screen. Roshan Mathew is a wonderful actor and should strictly stay away from Bollywood to save his image. Talented actors like Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Jitendra Joshi, Meiyang Chang and Rajendra Gupta have tried their best in the acting department, but deserved a much better script which could give justice to their talent.
Ulajh is completely lost in its own plot. The script is very dull and confusing. The characters are so dumb and lack intelligence. The writing is full of loopholes. The screenplay is very loose and extremely boring.
The direction is terrible. Sudhanshu Saria has made a very complex film which lacks connection. The treatment is very confusing. This wannabe intellectual film ends up being a brainless flick.
A thriller should be gripping and engaging with proper twists and turns. Ulajh doesn’t have any surprising elements, rather it is full of only stupid things to irritate the viewers. The 135 minute duration feels like hell. The film doesn’t move forward and feels like one is trapped. The film will test your patience to the next level and will provide you nothing in the end. The climax isn’t satisfying and fulfilling either, making it difficult to overlook all the flaws. Each and every department of this film seems to be tangled.
Mass movie watching audiences should stay miles away from Ulajh. This is a film which even class movie lovers won’t be able to understand. The viewer will start losing their interest within the first 5 minutes and won’t even care about what is going on for the next 130 minutes. This is a film which doesn’t follow any proper route, it keeps on changing the tracks only to harass the audience.
The makers have ended the film by giving a hint to its sequel. How can makers dare such a thing by shamelessly wasting time and energy of all the viewers?
This is not a spy thriller, but it is a WHY thriller. I wonder, WHY was this film even made? This film was a total disaster on paper, still the makers showed courage to make this piece of shit. Ulajh is tormenting and dangerous, as it sureshot going to create frustration in the minds of the viewers.
Ulajh is an unnecessarily complicated film which will leave viewers in great Uljhan (confusion). People who wish to stay alive, should stay away from this torture. Headache has a new synonym, and that is Ulajh. Skip it, as it is amongst one of the worst films of 2024.
