Indian Cinema made a cinematic adaptation of Hindu Epic Ramayana in the form of Adipurush. Om Raut directorial Adipurush was not upto the mark and received a heavy backlash.
After Om Raut, Indian Cinema is all set to make another cinematic adaptation of Ramayana.
Ramayana will be a trilogy which will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar of Mom fame.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi will be playing Sita and Kannada Superstar Yash will essay the role of Ravana.
Now it has been learnt that the makers have offered the role of Lord Hanuman to Sunny Deol.
The makers feel that Sunny Deol fits perfectly for the role of Lord Hanuman. Sunny Deol has the physique, ability, strength and potential to play this legendary character.
If everything goes well, makers are also planning to make a standalone film on Lord Hanuman starring Sunny Deol in the lead.
If all things fall in place, Indian Cinema will witness one of the biggest casting coups.
This Trilogy will be produced by Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena, and Namit Malhotra.
The film is all set to go on floors from February 2024. Yash will shoot for his part from July 2024.
Sunny Deol made a solid comeback with Gadar 2 and delivered an All Time Grosser. He will be next seen in the Ahmed Khan directorial Baap along with Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon and Mithun Chakraborty.
Sunny Deol also has Lahore 1947 in his kitty. The hard-hitting partition drama is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan.
