Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming Sci-fi action spy series Citadel is gearing up for its release. The show is created by Russo Bros. (Avengers: Endgame fame). The show also stars Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and Leslie Manville amongst others. Citadel is said to be one of the costliest web shows ever made. The first two episodes of Citadel will premiere on 28th April on Amazon Prime Video. New episodes will follow every Friday until May 26
Priyanka and Richard play the role of elite spies who work for an organization named Citadel. Character name of Priyanka Chopra is Nadia Sinh. The six-episode series will reveal secrets from the spies’ pasts along with following them as they attempt to piece together their present as they play dual characters.
The new trailer starts with the scene between Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra) and Maison Kane (Richard Madden) discussing trusting each other and then some action scenes are shown in fast motion. Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) a veteran spy from Citadel notifies them that they were the Citadel agents 8 years ago and then their memories were erased and they don’t remember anything about Citadel. Citadel is an independent global spy agency which ensures the safety and security of the people. These 2 are called back again to Citadel for a mission. Priyanka and Richard meet at a place and while beating the goons they remember everything about Citadel. The trailer further shows their action adventures as agents. How they accomplish the mission and what obstacles come in front of them is all the new trailer is about.
This action packed trailer has left us wanting more and we can’t wait for the show to stream.
