The career of Prabhas has been divided in 2 parts, one is before Baahubali and one is after Baahubali.
Before Baahubali Prabhas did many films like Varsham (2004), Chatrapathi (2005), Bujjigadu (2008), Billa (2009), Darling (2010), Mr. Perfect (2011), Rebel (2012) and Mirchi (2013), and got a good recognition in Tollywood. It was SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali which made Prabhas a known name in every household of India.
Baahubali was the highest grossing Telugu film at the time of its release. It collected approx 520 crores in India and 650 crores worldwide.
Baahubali 2 had an unprecedented buzz. The film took the nation by a storm and did unimaginable business at the Box Office. It emerged as an All Time Grosser of Indian Cinema. It collected 520 cr in Hindi belts and became the highest grossing Hindi film. Baahubali 2 did a huge business of more than 1400 crores in India. The film collected 1800 cr at the Global Box Office. It is the 2nd highest grossing Indian film of all time globally behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
After Baahubali 2, Prabhas was seen in big budget films like Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.
Saaho did a good business at the Box Office and is 4th highest grossing Telugu film of all time.
Prabhas will be next seen in KGF fame Prashanth Neel’s Salaar. Salaar is a high octane action entertainer. Salaar is all set to release on 21st December during Christmas weekend.
Prabhas also has Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi action film Kalki 2898 AD which is set in a dystopian world. The film has a stellar star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film is all set to release on 12th January, 2024.
