His role as Tarla’s husband as Nalin will be remembered by each and everyone in the society who watches this film. Huma Qureshi and Sharib Hashmi seem like an unusual pair, but the makers made it look like the best pair with their wonderful writing. The supporting cast is brilliant.
Tarla is beautifully directed by Piyush Gupta. Some scenes are full of intelligence. Piyush Gupta should direct more films in future.
Writing of Tarla is fine and has all the ingredients of a proper biopic. It follows the perfect recipe of all the elements required in a biopic with cinematic liberties.
Tarla has some scenes which seem to be mediocre and hurt the intellectual narrative. But the films move on and you don’t care about them much. Tarla is like a dish where you forgot to add some ingredients, and still end up serving a good dish.
Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Piyush Gupta have made many thoughtful films on society and Tarla is another addition in their filmography. They have made a film which can change the perception of society. The emotions of the cook are reflected in the food and the same applies here, the hard work of makers is reflected on the final product. The makers have made this film with a lot of emotion and it is clearly visible.
Tarla is another good film by Zee5 after Manoj Bajpayee’s Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.
