Fukrey franchise has a separate fan base. Fukrey is a franchise which does not have many big names, but has emerged successful because of its good content. The first 2 parts of Fukrey were amazing and were loved by the audiences.
Fukrey 3 is an unnecessary and forcefully made film full of stupidity which can harm the goodwill created by the Fukrey franchise. Fukrey 3 is nowhere close to the previous 2 parts. Fukrey 3 is a big disappointment. Fukrey 3 lacks logic and gets the basics wrong.
In a comedy film you have to play with the characters more than the story. Fukrey 3 focuses more on Varun Sharma (Choocha) and makes the audience laugh out loud, but after one point of time it makes you feel bored.
Fukrey 3 uses outdated and WhatsApp jokes which will hardly make you laugh. The film has good jokes in the first 30 mins but then it will make you feel bored. There are some dialogues which are hilarious and can be enjoyed.
Fukrey 3 is a complete torture in the 2nd half. Fukrey 3 is a film which even brainless comedy watching audiences will find hard to digest.
There are many comedy films whose sequels have turned out as a huge disappointment in terms of content, be it Golmaal series, Housefull series or Welcome series. Nowadays filmmakers are making the 2nd, 3rd and 4th parts just for the sake of money. Fukrey 3 has also used the brand value of Fukrey for the sake of money.
Fukrey 3 has shattered screenplay. It seems like the writer was confused about how to take the story forward. Fukrey 3 doesn’t follow any particular storyline. The film is bits and pieces with no proper follow-up of any scene. It seems like we are watching 150 short funny videos (as the runtime is 150 minutes) which don’t have any connection with each other.
The things like urine, sweat, diamond, petrol, etc. look so cheap in the narrative. Even a small kid would have written a better script than this shit. The whole election thing looks very stupid and childish.
Varun Sharma as Choocha is the best performer in Fukrey 3. Varun Sharma without saying anything makes you laugh to the fullest. The activities which he does on-screen are hilarious. Pankaj Tripathi is a solid actor and he delivers a fine performance. Pankaj Tripathi feels underutilized in many scenes. Richa Chadha as Bholi Punjaban is the same as she was in the previous 2 parts. Pulkit Samrat as Hunny does nothing new and is decent. Manjot Singh is amazing as Lali. Supporting cast is decent. Fans won’t miss Ali Fazal, as the makers have a huge surprise.
It seems like the makers had focused much on Varun Sharma and this resulted in others failing to leave a solid mark. After one point of time even Varun Sharma is irritating and writers have to be blamed here.
It seemed like writers took the character of Choocha so seriously, as the writing is full of stupidity.
The only thing in which Fukrey 3 is better than the previous 2 parts is its scale. Fukrey 3 is updated in terms of scale, but it does not matter as the content is extremely poor. I hope makers do not serve us with another rotten Fukrey film in future.
Another best part about Fukrey 3 is that no matter from where you start watching the film you won’t miss anything because nothing is connected to each other.
Overall Fukrey 3 is a badly presented film let down by pathetic direction and rotten writing. Fukrey 3 has zero madness and all stupidity. Fukrey 3 has just been made for making money by using the brand value of Fukrey. Fukrey 3 is going to harm the goodwill created by the Fukrey franchise. The Fukra gang deserves a better script. A big size headache which should be skipped at any cost.
