Ganapath was amongst one of the most anticipated films at the time when it was announced. The film was in news for its future theme. It was a high budget post apocalyptic dystopian action film.
Ganapath has opened to disastrous numbers at the Box Office. The film has a terrible storyline and pathetic direction which has resulted in poor numbers. The WOM is extremely negative and audiences have completely rejected the film.
Ganapath has managed to collect only 2.50 cr on its opening day. Tiger’s Heropanti 2 which had a poor content also collected more than Ganapath. Heropanti 2 collected 6.50 cr on its opening day.
Tiger Shroff’s last theatrical release before pandemic was Baaghi 3. Baaghi 3 was slightly affected due to Covid but somehow managed to collect 90 cr at the Box Office. Tiger’s previous release War which also had Hrithik Roshan emerged as a Blockbuster at the Box Office. Heropanti 2 was Tiger’s first film post-pandemic.
It seems like Tiger will have to wait for some more time to get his first Box Office success post-pandemic.
Kriti Sanon is struggling at the Box Office and her poor run continues with Ganapath. Ganapath is Kriti’s 6th Box Office failure in a row. Kriti’s last Box Office hit was Housefull 4 which came out in 2019. Post Housefull 4, Kriti delivered consecutive failures in the form of Panipat, Bachchhan Paandey, Bhediya, Shehzada, Adipurush and Ganapath. Ganapath is Kriti’s 3rd disaster in the row after Shehzada and Adipurush.
Kriti and Tiger started their career together in 2014 with Heropanti. Heropanti was a clean hit at the Box Office. The duo has failed to attract viewers with their latest outing Ganapath.
Pooja Entertainment 2nd Disaster within a span of 15 days. Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Raniganj which was released on 6th October also bombed at the Box Office.
Ganapath faced a clash with Yaariyan 2 at the Box Office. Yaariyan 2 has also opened to poor numbers. The film has collected only 0.50 cr at the Box Office.
Ganapath is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Pooja Entertainment. The film stars Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.
