Kangana Ranaut had filed a case on Javed Akhtar. Javed Akhtar will be summoned by court under Sections 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (insult to the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code. He will have to be present in the court on 5th August.
In 2021, Kangana had revealed in an interview that Javed Akhtar had forced her to apologize to Hrithik Roshan. The dispute took place due to exchange of some emails between them. The allegation of Kangana on Javed Akhtar, led him to file a defamation case against her.
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut were in a serious relationship during Krrish 3. The duo then parted ways. Kangana after the break up was seen constantly alleging Hrithik. She had passed many comments on Hrithik. She was seen mentioning Hrithik 2 days ago on her Instagram story. The controversial relationship between Kangana and Hrithik is still discussed around the nation.
Kangana had filed an intimidation and insult complaint against Javed Akhtar for the same. In the last hearing, Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, who is a physician to Javed Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut was presented in the court as a witness. He said that the meeting took place between Javed Akhtar, Kangana and Rangoli Chandel (Kangana’s sister and manager). He also said that Javed Akhtar had discussed with him about the issues between Kangana and Hrithik, and settlement. The meeting lasted for 20 to 30 minutes. The doctor cleared that Kangana did not tell him to act as a mediator in solving the dispute.
Advocate Jay Bharadwaj representing Javed Akhtar asked Dr. Ramesh about the meeting, to which he replied by saying, “I have not heard. I was not part of the conversation as I was a little away from them. I was also on phone calls with some patients at that time.”
Dr. Ramesh said that Javed Akhtar said to Kangana, “Aapko maafi mangni padegi”. To this Advocate Bharadwaj interjected and asked, “Padegi ya Mangiye is the question.” Dr. Agarwal replied by saying, “Aap maafi mangiye.”
The Advocate also asked, “Was there any exchange of harsh words?” Dr. Ramesh replied by saying, “No”.
Advocate Rizwan Siddique representing Kangana while cross examining asked to Dr. Ramesh that, “Is it true to say that, in good faith, you initiated the mediation at the request of Javed Akhtar?” To this Dr. Ramesh said, “Yes.”
Advocate Siddique then asked him, “Despite Akhtar’s close association with Hrithik Roshan and his family, the Roshans were not called to the mediation meeting.” To this Dr. Ramesh replied by saying, “When I went there, they were not present. I don’t know if they were invited or not.”
Dr. Ramesh Agarwal was asked about the agenda of the meeting. He replied by saying, “The agenda was that both would apologize to each other. But I did not know that Akhtar would not call the Roshans and only ask Kangana to apologize.”
While asking a question by Advocate Siddique, Dr. Ramesh also said that, “Kangana told me that initially both of us (she and Hrithik) were to apologize, but now only I am being asked to apologize. She told me this, and that is why she felt uncomfortable.”
When asked why, “The meeting did not happen as it was supposed to, and Kangana left the meeting without any resolution”, Dr. Ramesh replied by saying, “Yes”.
Dr. Ramesh also agreed when Advocate Siddique asked him that, “You have known Kangana for 17 years and have found her to be a very obedient and a simple girl?”
