Kajol is busy with promotions of her next show. Kajol was recently asked about women empowerment and comeback in an interview. The statement given by Kajol created a lot of noise on social media. The statement given by Kajol created a controversy.
Kajol speaking about women empowerment said, “The biggest detriment in women’s empowerment is women themselves and since as women we produce and raise children we must raise our daughters and sons in a way that they are not bothered by societal opinions.”
The statement which caused controversy was when Kajol said, “It has to do with education. We have political leaders who do not have an educational background. You are being ruled by leaders who do not have that viewpoint and education does give you that.”
Many people on social media trolled Kajol for being a school dropout and not being a properly educated person. Kajol being uneducated commenting about other people’s educational background came as a shock. Kajol commented about uneducation, while she also belongs in the same line.
Now after facing heavy backlash, Kajol came up with a clarification tweet which read as, “I was merely making a point about education and its importance. My intention was not to demean any political leaders, we have some great leaders who are guiding the country on the right path.”
