Varun Sood started his acting career with Alt Balaji’s Ragini MMS Returns. He was also seen in a short cameo in Jugjugg Jeeyo. His latest web show Karmma Calling starring Raveena Tandon was a success. His performance was loved by the viewers and was well received.
Varun has some of the exciting projects in his kitty. He will be next seen playing an Indian Army Officer in Amazon Mini TV’s new show Naam Namak Nishan. The show is all set to stream from tomorrow.
After Naam Namak Nishan, he will be seen in Prime Video’s Call Me Bae produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. The show stars Ananya Panday in the lead role. Varun will be playing a fun loving character in this show. He also has another show releasing in September on a big OTT platform, whose details have been kept under wraps.
Varun’s career graph has taken a rise and we can’t wait for his future projects. Each and every actor has a dream or a wishlist to work with someone in the industry, and the same is the case with Varun.
We got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Varun, where he expressed his desire of working with Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar. He also shared some details about his upcoming show Call Me Bae. He also said that he wants to explore action and comedy genres.
Q] Which are the actors and directors you want to work with?
Ans – I want to work with Karan Johar. He is a creative genius. I would love to be directed by him. I would like to work with Ranbir Kapoor one day. I think Ranbir is one of the most organic actors.
Q] Please tell us something about your upcoming show ‘Call Me Bae’.
Ans – It was a fun show to work on. My character in Call Me Bae is very different and fun loving. The whole vibe of the show was joyful. There was not a single dull moment at any time. Everyone was laughing and enjoying the whole process. It is a dream for every actor to be associated with Dharma Productions. My first came was in Jugjugg Jeeyo which was produced by Dharma. I feel fortunate enough to be associated with Dharma twice in such a short time span.
Q] Which genre would you like to explore in future?
Ans – I would like to explore the action genre. I would also like to do a full fledged comedy film.
