He made his acting debut with Alt Balaji’s Ragini MMS Returns in 2019 and played the lead role. He was also seen in a short cameo in Jugjugg Jeeyo. His latest web series Karmma Calling made him more popular and gained him a lot of praise.
Varun has next 2 shows ‘Naam Namak Nishan’ & ‘Call Me Bae’ in his kitty. He is playing the role of an Army Officer in Naam Namak Nishan and a fun loving character in Call Me Bae. Varun’s versatility is something to watch out for. His selection of scripts looks promising.
We at Film Window got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Varun Sood. As Varun has already been a part of many reality shows, we asked him if he wishes to be a part of some more. He also shared his take on reality shows.
Q] What’s your take on a reality show?
Ans – Reality shows act as a great platform for those who want to be famous. It is a great platform for people to showcase their personality. There is a certain stereotype for the people who appear in reality shows, that they are only meant for reality.
Q] When a contestant develops a certain fan following from a reality show, how much does it help him/her further in life?
Ans – It depends on what that person wants to do. I feel that your followers do not help you if you become an actor, it doesn’t help you in acting. Talking about myself, I have to go for an audition. I am not casted on the basis of my followers and my past history of reality shows. Fame doesn’t help you in acting and at the end you will have to act.
Q] If you get a chance to be a part of any reality show like Bigg Boss, will you do it?
Ans – No, I won’t do it. I am completely out of it and I am done with reality shows.
