Disney+ Hotstar’s new thriller series Gunaah started streaming from 3rd June. The series stars Gashmeer Mahajani, Surbhi Jyoti and Zayn Ibad Khan in the lead roles.
The story follows Abhimanyu (Zayn Ibad Khan) suffering from a betrayal from Tara (Surbhi Jyoti). In order to take revenge from Tara, Abhimanyu (Gashmeer Mahajani) undergoes a plastic surgery.
It’s been a month since the series started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, and it has received immense praise from the viewers. The series was praised for its intriguing plot, power packed performances and great storyline.
Surbhi Jyoti had established herself as one of the top most Television actors. She came into the limelight with TV serial Qubool hai where she played the role of Zoya which turned out to be a game changer for Surbhi.
She then played the lead in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 3. She shared screen space with Pearl V Puri. Surbhi played the role of Naagrani Bela and Pearl V Puri played the role of Mahir. Fans started calling them “Behir’.
There were rumors of Surbhi dating her Naagin co-star Pearl. But later on Pearl denied and stated that they are just good friends.
We at Film Window got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Surbhi and we asked her about Pearl. Have a look below at what she has to say about her friendship with Pearl.
Surbhi said, “Pearl is a very very great friend. As of now, I am afraid that we are not working on any project together. But I am glad that people still miss us on-screen and they would love to see us together. Hopefully that will happen soon because I also loved us together on-screen and let’s see when that happens. He is a great guy and a great friend.”
