Gashmeer Mahajani is a popular name who has worked in Hindi and Marathi films and has also acted in Television.
His new web show Gunaah is making a lot of noise. Gunaah is a thriller series streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The series has received a thumbs up from the viewers.
Gashmeer has appeared in a couple of reality shows. He participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 where he ended up at 4th position. He was also seen as a guest in Bigg Boss 16. He is recently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
Gashmeer is one of those actors who has never been in any controversy in his entire career. Despite being a part of some of the top most reality shows in our country, Gashmeer has tried to stay away from controversies.
We at Film Window got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Gashmeer where he spoke about reality shows.
Gashmeer while interacting with us said, “Controversial content is sold in shows like Bigg Boss. I have not come into this industry to create controversies. I don’t want to become a reality show star, instead I would like to do 4 more shows like Gunaah. Reality shows are not my product and I am not its salesman. My product is a show like Gunaah. If I would come to reality shows, it would be only for learning and gaining some experience. In reality shows you get a good amount of money. You are able to make a lot of money in less time. If I get such a huge amount, I would like to do another show like Gunaah or a film which has a low budget. By the way, Gunaah had a very good budget. In the future, if I am offered some quality based content and a good script where the budget is less, I would do it. The huge amount which I have earned in that reality show, I will save, so that I can sustain my family during the time when I am doing a low budget quality oriented project. Selling controversies is not my product. I am not a social media star. I don’t make reels and earn money. I am not a reality TV star. I don’t make money by doing back to back reality shows.”
