This Friday, 2 big Hollywood films were released. One of them was Christopher Nolan’s much awaited Oppenheimer and another one was Barbie.
Christopher Nolan has a loyal and huge fan base in India. Each and every film of Nolan has something out of the box and has unique stuff. He plays with the mind of the audience and tells path breaking stories.
Oppenheimer had a huge buzz in India. The film proved to be the biggest opener for Christopher Nolan at the Indian Box Office. The film collected in the range of 13.5 crores nett and 16 cr gross at the Indian Box Office.
On the other hand Barbie also got its target audience and opened to 5 cr nett at the Indian Box Office.
Both the films are like a treat to cinema lovers. Both the films were highly awaited and did a good amount of business on its opening day.
Barbie collected approx 64 million USD (525 crores) worldwide at the Box Office. Oppenheimer collected 30 million USD (250 crores) globally.
Oppenheimer is a biopic of World famous American physicist Dr. J Robert Oppenheimer. The film is directed by World’s Greatest Director Chirstopher Nolan. The film stars Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt amongst others.
Barbie stars Margot Robbie (as Barbie) and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles and is directed by Greta Gerwig.
Barbie has defeated Oppenheimer at the Global Box Office by a huge margin. In India, Oppenheimer emerged as the winner.
