July has been the month of Hollywood releases in India. In July there were no big Bollywood films which had been released in cinemas.
In the 1st week of July, Vidya Balan starrer Neeyat was released on the big screen. Vidya Balan returned to the big screen after 4 years. Neeyat failed to bring in the audiences and bombed at the Box Office.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal was directly released on Amazon Prime.
Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is all set to hit the cinemas on 28th July. RRKPK is the only Bollywood biggie releasing in July.
3 big Hollywood films were released in India this month. Mission Impossible 7 was released on 12th July. Oppenheimer and Barbie had hit the cinemas on 21st July.
Mission Impossible opened at 12.30 cr nett at the Indian Box Office. It got the biggest opening for any Mission Impossible film in India. It has collected approx 87 cr nett and is still going strong at the Box Office. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is the highest grossing Mission Impossible film in India. MI 7 collected 4.75 crores on its 2nd Saturday.
Oppenheimer is directed by World’s Best Director Christopher Nolan. Christopher Nolan has a huge fan base in India. Oppenheimer collected 14.5 crores nett on its opening day at the Indian Box Office. The film collected 17.25 crores nett on the 2nd day. The total 2 days collection stands at 31.75 cr nett in all languages. Today i.e. Sunday will be higher and there are high chances of touching 50 cr in its opening weekend.
Barbie has also been successful at the Indian Box Office. The film has found its target audience and female audiences are loving it. Barbie has a huge fan following all over the world. Barbie collected 5 cr on its opening day and collected 6.5 cr on 2nd day. The total collection stands at 11.5 crores.
Combined collection of all the 3 Hollywood films stands at 28.50 cr (MI 7 – 4.75 cr, Oppenheimer – 17.25 cr and Barbie – 6.5 cr).
All the 3 films will collect a good amount today. The combined Sunday collection will be in the range of more than 30 crores.
