In 2018, Disha got her biggest blockbuster of her career, Baaghi 2. She starred opposite Tiger Shroff in this action thriller. Baaghi 2 was a Hindi remake of Telugu film Kshanam starring Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma. Baaghi 2 emerged as a Blockbuster at the Box Office.
In 2019, Disha got a chance to work with the Superstar Salman Khan in the film Bharat. Disha had an extended cameo in the film. The film had an ensemble cast of Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Sonali Kulkarni and Tabu. The film went on to collect around 200 crores at the Domestic Box Office and was declared a semi-hit. The film was an Indian adaptation of the Korean film ‘An Ode To My Father’.
In 2020, she collaborated with the director Mohit Suri for the 1st time in Malang. She was paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the film. The film also had Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu.
In 2021, Disha Patani collaborated with Salman Khan for the 2nd time. Radhe starring Salman and Disha was supposed to release in theaters but due to Covid-19 the film took the digital route. Radhe was a remake of Korean thriller ‘The Outlaws’. The film was available in pay per view format through Zee Plex and Zee5.
In 2022, Disha collaborated with her Malang director Mohit Suri for the second time in the psychological thriller Ek Villain Returns. The film also had John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
Disha Patani will be next seen in Yodha film opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film also stars Raashii Khanna. The film is an action thriller directed by the duo of Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre.
Disha Patani also has a big budget Pan-India film titled Kanguva. Disha will be seen opposite Suriya in this period action drama film. Kanguva marks Disha’s debut in Tamil Cinema.
Disha Patani also has another big budget sci-fi film titled ‘Project K’. The film is directed by National Award Winner Nag Ashwin. The film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu. The film is made on an estimated budget of 500 crores. The film is all set to release on 12th January, 2024.
