Jawan was released yesterday and has smashed the opening day record of Pathaan. Pathaan emerged as the record opener by collecting 55 cr nett on its opening day. Jawan went on to collect 65.50 cr nett on its opening day.
Pathaan also had a tremendous buzz and it was a much awaited film. Pathaan after creating opening day record also went on to emerge as an All Time Grosser by collecting 524.53 cr nett at the Hindi Box Office.
Jawan has now surpassed the opening day figures of Jawan by a huge margin. Yesterday was a partial holiday of Janmashtami and Jawan has created wonders at the Box Office.
The Word Of Mouth is very much positive and Jawan is all set to go strong at the Box Office. Jawan will collect 225 cr+ nett in its 4 days extended opening weekend.
SRK made a king sized comeback with Pathaan. It seems like SRK is not competing with anyone else, he is competing with himself.
Jawan is that perfect masala entertainer which the audience was craving for a long time. The film had pure desi mass with high octane action sequences and seeti-maar dialogues.
SRK’s different looks had created curiosity amongst the audience and the way Atlee has presented them is just praiseworthy. SRK is seen in a never seen before avatar in Jawan. He has a double role in the film and is seen in a complete beast mode.
Jawan is the 8th record opener film for Shah Rukh Khan. The other 7 are Karan Arjun, Trimurti, Koyla, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Main Hoon Na, Happy New Year and Pathaan.
Jawan along with smashing Hindi Box Office records has also registered huge numbers overseas. The film has gone past Pathaan’s 106 cr gross mark on its opening day at the Worldwide Box Office. Jawan has also created havoc at the South Box Office. The numbers which Jawan has registered on its opening day in South are more than lifetime numbers of many Bollywood films. Jawan has collected approx 10 cr nett in Tamil and Telugu languages.
Jawan has a high chance of emerging as an All Time Grosser by surpassing Pathaan. Jawan is all set to create many more records in the coming days at the Box Office.
Jawan is directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. The film has Sanya Malhotra, Priya Mani, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Girija Oak in supporting roles. The film also featured Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in special appearances.
