Indian Cinema’s powerhouse performer Ranveer Singh has left audiences awestruck with his stellar performance in the blockbuster film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. The versatile actor has once again proven his mettle, captivating viewers with his larger-than-life screen presence and impactful demeanor that sets him apart from his contemporaries.
Moviegoers couldn’t take their eyes off Ranveer Singh every time he appeared on screen. His portrayal of the charismatic and vibrant ‘Delhi Boy’ character, Rocky, has garnered widespread praise from critics and audiences alike. Moreover, what impressed everybody was Ranveer Singh’s infectious energy while performing Kathak. Talking about what went behind in preparations, the superstar says “In the initial days of the rehearsal I was quite anxious cause I’ve got a lot of muscle mass bebz- like shoulders, biceps ,triceps , very big, very tight, lot of muscle mass, intensity, so it was very difficult in the initial days. One had to un-condition one’s body for the grace of Kathak to come in and I was getting reports that Tota sir is killing it in Kolkata! He’s on it for hours in the day, putting in the sweat.. putting in the work.. and yeah he was doing it in Kolkata and I was doing it in Bombay. I knew it in the back of my mind that we were safe and secure because we were being choreographed by Vaibhavi ma’am and she’s an absolute stickler for absolute excellence, toh woh chodhti nahi jab tak unko jo chahiye woh mile nahi, so all credit to her, to the choreography team who till the very last hour and I was so thrilled with the reactions to that moment. I’ve been in cinema halls to witness that personally. It’s the most euphoric most fulfilling feeling to see the audience’s reactions to that” .
When asked if there is anybody who can play a delhi boy better than Ranveer, the actor replied “ I dont know that’s not for me to say but ya I’m glad that amongst various delhi boys that I have played i’m able to find something different to offer with every character so that’s very fullfilling heartning to learn from the audiences reaction to the flim to the character to the performance”.
While talking about wife Deepika’s reaction to RRKPK , he says “Thankyou Madam she loved it actually! It was one of the most memorable and fullfilling movie watching experiences of my life. She is very proud of me and I am very happy about that”.
Critics have not shied away from calling Ranveer Singh the best actor of his generation, and with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, he has only strengthened that claim. The film’s success has further solidified his position as one of India’s most versatile and bankable stars.
